King Salmon

There is increasing recognition of the clear health benefits of eating fish regularly, particularly oily fish. Oily fish are those with the natural oils distributed throughout the flesh and are consequently of very high nutritional value.

King salmon has the highest natural oil content of all salmon - a rich source of healthy Omega-3. A 150g portion of King salmon provides the complete daily requirement of Omega-3, which is linked to protection against heart disease and certain cancers, alleviation of arthritic pain, and the boosting of the immune system.

Salmon is also an excellent source of protein, with 20g of protein in every 100g of fresh King salmon, as well as providing other vitamins and minerals. Salmon is simple, tasty and convenient to prepare for a meal and easily digested."
