A Celebration of DHA: Discovery, Achievement and Challenges for Global Health 40 years on

London, UK, 26-27 May 2010

This meeting will celebrate 40 years of research on omega-3 fatty acids, particularly docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Amongst the invited speakers, several of the pioneers in this field will be there including Michael Crawford, Nicolas Bazan, Bill Lands, Rodolfo Brenner, Gene Anderson, Claudio Galli, Andrew Sinclair and Jean-Marie Bourre. In addition to highlighting significant biochemical discoveries and clinical achievements involving DHA, this meeting will have a session on the role of DHA in human brain evolution. It will also point to the major global challenge of maintaining brain health in the 21st century. The Celebration of DHA promises to be a memorable occasion but places are limited so reserve soon.
